I have now worked with Kelly for the past 18 months. Having worked with a few personal trainers over the years, my primary reason for selecting Kelly was her ability to underdstand my specific needs and requirements as a golfer. This revolves around working specific muscle groups and 'anchoring' my training programmes around core stability. Kelly's ability to vary each session I have with her is also a major factor maintaining my motivation and interest. I initially came to Kelly as she seemed approachable and friendly and truth be told, I was scared to death to enter a gym, let alone do any exercise! In my 50's and a little too large for my liking, I was keen to lose a little weight to improve my confidence. Over the first few weeks, Kelly eased me in gently and then we began to up the pace a little. I can honestly say that I enjoy my sessions with her and I have even done a couple of 5k charity runs which I never thought I would do in a million years! I have lost weight, I do feel better and I am not having energy slumps mid afternoon any more. Training with Kelly is a pleasure, especially when we do boxing and I can get my own back on her!! I was getting married and needed to lose weight! Bingo wings, back fat and chest. In a matter of weeks I started to see results and learned the importance of resistance and cardiovascular training. Now, four years later, I have completed a marathon, two half marathons and have had my first child! My job involves boozy lunches, dinners and sitting at a desk all day. I thought that if I could only do a little exercise it would help.I have sleep apnea which is a condition where you can stop breathing for short periods in the night. Being overweight and having excess fat stored around the neck makes it worse as the airway is smaller and you can stop breathing altogether.Kelly understands my lifestyle and although my diet is not perfect, she has taught me ways to change my habits and eat alternatives to the food I was originally eating. Our varied and fun sessions keep me going and I honestly feel so much better than I did before. My condition has improved as I have lost two stone over the past 18 months and my wife is a lot happier now that I do not snore so much. (Paul Johnston)

I have had personal training with Kelly for just over two years. My job is very busy and I use the sessions to clear my mind and stay fit. The sessions are always varied and Kelly pushes me to greater levels.
